Hyacinth brings to Victoria Foundation a wealth of experience and a strong educational background in accounting. Since 2021, she has served as the Foundation’s part-time accountant, working closely with team members to manage Victoria’s accounting and human resources functions.

Before joining Victoria Foundation, Hyacinth spent several years as an independent licensed insurance agent in New Jersey and contracted with several major insurance companies. Additionally, she served as a Federally Facilitated Marketplace approved agent for ACA health insurance plans.

Hyacinth's extensive experience also includes more than 15 years in various roles at charter schools, including New Horizon Charter School and Lady Liberty Charter School in Newark, where she assisted in budget preparation, managed operations, supervised maintenance services, and ensured compliance with health and safety standards. Her responsibilities extended to auditing claims, serving as the purchasing agent, and overseeing payroll and employee benefits.

At Liberty Science Center, a nonprofit science museum, Hyacinth supervised accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, and payroll information. She played a pivotal role in refining financial policies, preparing financial reports, and training staff.

Hyacinth holds a Certificate for New Jersey School Business Administrator and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Jersey City State College (now New Jersey City University). Her diverse background and commitment to excellence make her a valuable asset to the Victoria Foundation.
