Erin Johnstone manages the development and evaluation of the Foundation’s grantmaking. She works to assure grantmaking operations are aligned with the organization’s mission, vision, and guiding values, and leverages her skills in data-management to inform on the Foundation’s programmatic impact. Inspired by her colleagues who work tirelessly to advance social justice in the city of Newark, Erin strives to build equity and transparency in Victoria’s grantmaking practices. With over 15 years in the philanthropic and grant-seeking sector, Erin has worked in programs for visual and performing artists and medical research support for international, regional, and place-based funders. She is an active member of PEAK Grantmaking and the Technology Association of Grantmakers, and as of 2021 has co-chaired the communications team and the creation of a newsletter for the PEAK Northeast chapter.
